Graduate Students
We are always seeking graduate students at both the MSc and PhD levels. While previous research experience is not necessary, it is highly preferred. Please contact Dr. Le at least 6 months in advance.

Undergraduate Students
There are three ways undergraduate students can gain research experience in our group:
a) Undergraduate Thesis (CHEM 4000)
We have 1-2 openings each year for thesis students. Please contact Dr. Le at least 3 months in advance to secure a position for the Fall/Winter or Summer semesters.
b) Paid positions supported by NSERC USRA/DURA
These competitive scholarships are available to students with excellent academic records. NSERC USRA is open to domestic students at any Canadian university. DURA positions are open to students at York (both domestic and international). Please contact Dr. Le at least 2 months in advance of the application deadline (late February each year)
c) Research Experience Term Course (i.e., volunteering)
A limited number of volunteering positions are available for undergraduate students at York University who are enrolled in the Chemistry program. Requirements include completion of the CHEM 2020/2021 sequence with good academic standing.
